Researchers from kNOwHATE project present their work at NetSci 2024 in Canada

Researchers Sérgio Moro and António Fonseca from ISTAR-Iscte participated in the NetSci 2024 - International School and Conference on Network Science, held from June 16-21.

Representing the kNOwHATE project, they presented their work at this flagship conference of the Network Science Society, which covers a broad range of topics including social networks, epidemics, ecology, neuroscience, and artificial intelligence.António Fonseca presented the poster titled "Characterization of User Positioning in Online Social Media, Application to Hate Speech Conversations." Sérgio Moro presented the poster, "Unveiling Research on Social Networks in the Portuguese Language."Their participation highlighted the innovative work of ISTAR-Iscte and the global relevance of the kNOwHATE project in addressing and reducing hate speech through interdisciplinary research.
