Rita Guerra joins discussion on hate speech on social media in Lisbon

Researcher Rita Guerra, from CIS-Iscte, took part in the 7th Conversation Cycle organized by EAPN Portugal / Rede DLBC Lisboa, focused on the theme “Hate Speech on Social Media,” held on March 31 at the Polícia Judiciária Auditorium in Lisbon. As coordinator of the European project kNOwHATE, Rita Guerra joined a panel of experts to reflect on the growing links between hate speech, disinformation, and propaganda across digital platforms. The initiative aimed to foster collective reflection on the role of social media in contemporary society and the need to build a more just and inclusive city, where public debate is not undermined by the normalization of hate.
